Horses are Easy, People are Complicated!

Most equestrian coaches and horse trainers possess a strong desire to ensure horses are confident in their expected tasks. A love for horses and a passion for working with them is the primary reason individuals become coaches and trainers. However, the challenge often lies not with the horse but with the human half of the riding partnership!

This is because it is often the owners who struggle to provide what is necessary to assist their horse, or, in many instances, are the root cause of the issues. Consequently, the most significant impact a coach or trainer can make on a horse is determined by their ability to educate and influence the owner.

While many owners are cooperative and eager to collaborate, others can be difficult and frustrating to help. This course is designed to help those interested gaining insights and tools into in the human aspect of the horse-riding partnership. By understanding how to effectively teach individuals, barriers to learning and collaboration can be identified and overcome, leading to successful relationships.

This form is to apply to be sponsored to be part of the course for the 1 February - 9 March 2025 enrolment period.

NOTE: Sponsorship involves a reduction in course fees of 20%.
