March Sadness 2023 - Conference Tournament 3

The poll is now closed. Thank you for your participation.

I am 55 years old, recently widowed, bedridden (in constant pain), on my own, and my central air conditioning unit died 2 years ago. I don't sweat so I am very prone to heat stroke and have had far too frequent heat stroke seizures the last 2 summers as a result.
I can't get to windows to open them and the evaporative fans I was able to obtain only drop temperatures in my room by 2-5°... Not enough with recent temperature extremes!
Please, this is not a question of being comfortable, it is a medical necessity! I'd truly be grateful for your votes! Thanks! Much appreciated! Best wishes, and Blessings to you all! #TeamNoMoreHeatStrokeSeizures (Colleen Ingerman)

Heater is over 50 years old. You have been servicing it for about 25 years. Could use an upgrade. #TeamTimeToUpgrade (Darlene Leighton)

When ECI came to the house, although they were polite, they said they wouldn't touch my unit. I never thought that my furnace could embarrass me. I need help! #TeamShamefulSystem (Michael Carpenter)

I was born in 1989. So was my Rheem "Heating Center", a vintage gas furnace that was here when I bought this South Philly home in May of 2022. Now that I have been through my first winter here I feel lucky that it was so mild as my gas bill has been a shocker every month. I am also including a pic of my one and only a/c unit, a Fedders window unit that might be older than my mother. I am hoping I never have to turn it on again! #TeamVeryVintage (Shannon Lafferty)
